From ukresults, the race was won by Chris Miller (Harrogate) in 34.49 and for OAC Rogan Ashton finished fifth (36.55).

From ukresults, the race was won by David Thompson (Barnsley) in 33.58 and OAC’s Howard Jeffrey finished 49th (44.53)
Saturday 12th September – Park Run Leeds 5km

In this week’s race won by Adam Grice (Leeds City) in 16.21, OAC’s Racheal Bamford finished eighteenth (and second lady) in 19.53.

Sunday 6th September – Glasgow Half Marathon

Tom Hannah reports that he ran a steady 100.44 to finish 1,261st. The race was won by Jason Mbote in a swift 61.19. More details from Run Glasgow.
Runner of the Month – August

Otley A.C.’s Runner of the Month for August has been awarded to Phil Robinson for becoming Yorkshire MV65 10 Mile Champion at Askern as well as good results in the Worsthorne Fell Race, Burnsall 10 Miles, New Inn Handicap and Hyde Park 5km.
Saturday 5th September – Lincolnshire Wolds “Tough Ten” Mile Road Race

The race was won by Richard Brown (Louth) in 56.44 and for OAC Julian Mawson finished second (57.17) and Jane Shelmerdine 61st (73.24). Results and photos from woldsvets.co.uk.
Wednesday 2nd September 2009 – Ilkley Incline Race

Despite the rain, a record number of finishers in this event.
The race was won by Graham Pearce (Pudsey & Bramley) in 7.15.
For OAC, an excellent second place for Bob Addey (7.54) followed by Rogan Ashton eleventh (8.35), Huw Illingworth thirteenth (8.40) and Andy Hunt sixteenth (8.51) – OAC won the team prize based on four to count.
Simon Anderson finished eighteenth (9.15), Adam Baird 32nd (10.03), second claim member Bob Payne 58th (12.15) and Antonio Cardinale 73rd (18.15).
