Sunday 18th October – Bridlington Half Marathon

Ten OAC members took part in the latest Club Runner of the Year event. The undulating race was won by Andrew Pearson (Longwood) in 65.48 – very impressive considering the wind.

For OAC, Julian Mawson finished seventh (75.06), Simon Anderson 35th (84.02) and Lloyd Best 51st (86.25) – thereby winning the team prize.

Dan Lambert finished 82nd (90.28 – a new pb), Ray Hawksby 96th (91.22), Karen Best 102nd (92.06), Hugh Pearson 133rd (94.36), Jane Shelmerdine 144th (95.12), Matt Podd 179th (98.13) and Billy Rayner 316th (108.08 – a new pb by over a minute). Approximately 700 finishers.
