Report from Howard Jeffrey: I am back in the UK after my visit to Las Vegas with work. I was able to do the half marathon which was brilliantly organised by the Americans alongside the Marathon. About 10,000 ran the full and 17,827 ran the half, two thirds of whom were women! I was optimistically hopeful of a third place in my age category (MV55) with an anticipated time of around 1.30.
