Another good turnout of 30+ runners. The handicapper was worried Antonio might suffer as he looked less than fully fit before the start suffering from sciatica, however my concerns proved unfounded as setting off first he hung on to cross the line ahead of Dave C. Joint runner of the month winner Tom continued his excellent form recording the fastest time of the night. Graham extended his overall lead now with 142pts, John Armitstead moves into second on 113pts and Caron Ralph in third on 110. But with Graham not able to do the last three handicaps of the year, the title is more open than it currently looks. It was good to see prospective new members Jackie & Moses running, I’m sure Moses will finish nearer the lead at the 3k track handicap for August… Pictures in Club Photos
