The Yorkshire Cross-Country Championships took place at the Northern Racing College, Doncaster. The ladies race was won by Susan Partridge (Leeds City) in 22.18 and for OAC, Racheal Bamford was well placed finishing 21st (25.04). Photos and video from flamingphotography. In the men’s race won by Jonathan Brownlee (Bingley) in 37.05, it was great to see for OAC, Ian Fisher finishing eighteenth (40.12), Liam Dunne 60th (43.44), Andrew Robertshaw 132nd (48.00), Andy Hunt 175th (51.47) and Mick Jeffrey 184th (52.19)….
From parkrun, this week’s race was won by Jim Webb (Leeds University Union Cross Country Club) in 18.18. For OAC, Simon Anderson finished an excellent fourth (19.09).

Report from Nick Hodgkinson: Finding my feet although they are very sore from this morning’s run. Still only four laps around the compound but it was the most complicated route you could ever imagine, with runners crossing paths, running in opposite directions, loops etc. I had no idea where I was going – I just followed everyone else.
