Saturday 6th August – Borrowdale Fell Race
A number of OAC members took part in the Borrowdale Fell Race (17 miles / 6,500′).
The racw was won by Ben Abdelnoor (Ambleside) in 2.52.37 and the first lady in 66th position overall was Andrea Rowlands (Eryri) in 3.47.43.
For OAC, second claim member Matt John finished seventeenth (3.22.08), Renee Saxton (and sixth lady) 126th (4.17.19), Simon Anderson 184th (4.38.33), Sam Stell 202nd (4.45.43) and Sharron Smith 241st (5.02.36).
