Report from Liz Fawcett:
We had a good training run with torches from Addingham footbridge on a round route to Beamsley Beacon and back. It included romping across fields, a narrow track precipitously close to a mini-ravine, wading through rocky streams and tussocky heather all guarunteed to get us thouroughly muddy and wet.
Good fun and even the full moon was on cue for this true moonlit session providing great views from the top.
A big thank you to Andrew Robertshaw for leading.
Next month Thursday 10th November, Matt Podd has suggested a route starting from Little Almscliffe Crags, meet at the car park 7.15pm or 6.50pm at Cross Green. I’ve recced it in the daylight and would be happy to lead a steadier group as well so no matter what your pace if you have a sense of adventure and fancy a change from pounding the tarmac come and join us!
