Saturday 17th March – The ‘Colin Best’ Calverley Handicap

Colin devised this new, 4.9 mile course, starting on the canal near the Railway Inn at Rodley, through Calverley Woods and back along the canal from Apperley Bridge.

The Honorary Secretary just pipped Hannah by 7 seconds to take the win. In ‘ultra‘ training mode, Liam was first to the finish but he had set off several minutes ahead of schedule after arriving fresh from a run to Leeds and back plus a 5k race. Thanks to Jack and Colin for recording at the finish allowing the Handicapper to run again and Colin for expertly taping the route.

Dave Cattanach extended his lead at the top of the handicap table to 10 points ahead of Billy and Tom Marsh 11 points behind in third.  See the latest Club Handicap Championship table for 2012 here
