Yes congratulations to Tom, Karen and Hugh who had all been struggling with injuries in the run-up to the event.
The only slight downpoint for the London Marathon is that it never provides much opportunity for Club Runner of the Year points…

Not my type of race, distance ok – but location and surface…..
Really well done to you all. not that Tom didn’t do well but fantastic for Karen, and Hugh said on Tuesday Night (see, the extra distance training helped) that he didn’t feel good and was just going to jog round!
    Good effort all Matt

How come Tom and especially Karen don’t look like they’ve been for a run nevermind a marathon.I never looked like that when I was silly enough to do them. Congratulations all round.

Fantastic day once again! just a shame OAC only had three runners on the day. Ilkley, Wetherby, Harrogate and many other local clubs had quite a large contingent out on the day. Come on the Black & Whites lets swamp it next year..Ballot opens on 30th April – NEXT MONDAY!!
