Monday 4th June – Mynydd Myfyr Hill Run

Report from Ben Cousen:

I entered the very friendly Mynydd Myfyr Hill Run at Trefonen in Shropshire.

Classified as a fell race, this was about 4 miles, two up and two down and incorporating 492′ of ascent.

The hill was runnable even though I seemed to wheeze ungainly to the top. The descent was great and I made up a few places.

Paul Jones (Oswestry Olympians) won in 22.06, I finished fifteenth in 25.11 and I got given a medal and a sweatband.

Full results from fellrunner.

That sweat band will come in handy keeping all that lush hair out of your eyes!
