Report from OAC’s Reid Haddow:

On a near perfect day for running today, the conditions were ideal with sunny intervals.

5,400 runners took to the streets of Leeds at 9am with a great start outside Leeds Town Hall.

The “Black and Whites” were here to do battle and there were various OAC members running, the pick of the crop being Tom Midgley, who ran superbly to finish seventeenth overall. Great running performances by all the other “Black and Whites”.

The organization done by the Run For All team was brilliant and the series of these events are well worth doing for the memory of Jayne Tomlinson, a true warrior!

Well done the”Black and Whites”, a great set of warriors came to do battle on the streets of Leeds, fantastic performances from all Otley Ac. members, you were all a credit.

    Tom

If I were you I’d ask Richard what he’s on and whether he can ‘bottle it’ for you. Perhaps more frequent attendance at training nights might also help

    regards

Mick ( 3rd in recent open race! )

    Mick,
He’s done okay in recent weeks – I’ll let him have that one! It wont last though 🙂

I have been injured since the Otley 10m, hence the reason I ve had poor attendance. Pretty pleased with the time with this in mind.

    See you this evening!

For some reason my name and time are on the results but not the Club, maybe as well as it was my slowest 10k ever, bit it was enjoyable. Reid, what are you on, I’ll have a pint of it, cheers
