Tuesday 4th September – Runner of the Month for August

For impressively doing the “Burnsall-double” by firstly completing the challenging Burnsall 10 Miles Road Race in 81.03 followed by the Burnsall Fell Race later in the afternoon in 34.12, August’s Runner of the Month is Andy Webster.

Andy also recorded a pleasing time of 12.53 in the 3,000m Club Handicap and Runner of the Year race at the Greenhead Track in Keighley.

Well done Andy… we hope you enjoy your deserved bottle of wine!

Seeing as I did the just the Burnsall 10, and the Keighley track session does that mean I’m half runner of the month?
Well done Andy; it’s a brave thing doing both the Burnsall events. Probably seemed like a good idea when you signed on!
And judging by your facial expression in the final few metres of the fell race I think the bottle of wine would have been very welcome then.
