An extremely large field of runners (596) meant congestion at the start. First section of the race is fast before a pretty hilly first 2 miles. The final four take you along new road side, right at the horsforth roundabout, right onto calverley lane which leads to the canal footpath.. The canal section was pretty relentless and seemed to last for an eternity, strong headwind didn’t help! A good well organised race though. Great technical tshirts!
