OAC’s Matt John made journey to the capital of Hungary for the Budapest Marathon, finishing an excellent sixteenth in 2:39:11 which was won by Jozsa Gabor followed in 2:21:06.

Matt comments, “I fell to pieces in the last six miles. In retrospect, the first half (1:16:27) may have been a little ambitious! Lesson most definitely not learnt…”.
