Ever improving Anne won her second Club Handicap of the year in a close finish with handicap stalwarts Tom and Billy. Anne also had the honour of recording the fastest time of the day. However several missed the bridleway path sign and flour off the first road section down to the reservoir dam.
Maybe a little more flour is needed for next time!
The top of the Handicap table now reads: 1st Richard Hamer 133 pts, 2nd Billy Rayner 113.5 pts and 3rd Tom Hannah 109.5 pts.
With two races left and ten to count it now looks probable that one of these will take this year’s title, as Richard has already done ten and his lowest single race score is eight, it’s closer than it initially looks. I’m sure Tom and Billy will be keen for a bigger turnout at Weeton and the “Ken Dixon”.
