    I agree, especially with the statements that Bradford believed their own hype and the dismissive response. Showcasing the city would be far better served by having a decent well organised race, ( the route is about the worst I have experienced in over 1000 races, zigzaggy, kerb islands across the route, no indicator arrows, bollards(sic!)etc. I can’t ever remember being misdirected before either). Look at the Leeds Abbey dash straight out and back with 9000+ runners every year, how hard is that? I seem to recollect the Bradford Epilepsy 10K doing something like that from the centre. Far better.
