The other race within the race between Richard, Billy and Tom for the overall handicap title was a tense affair as all three set off on 12 minutes. Billy pushed the pace on the Timble loop, passing the car park with a 15 second lead on Richard, with a struggling Tom a further 59 seconds behind.
