Saturday 27th April – Three Peaks Race

threepeaks2013The 59th Three Peaks Race (23.2 miles / 5,276′ ascent) was won by Joe Symonds (Salomon International Team / Hunters Bog Trotters) in 2.54.39 and the first lady in 42nd position overall was Jasmin Paris (Carnethy Hill RC) in 3.33.04.

For OAC, Ed Davies finished 64th (3.41.28), John Armitstead 185th (4.04.17), Andy Hunt 230th (4.10.17), Graham Lake 301st (4.22.25), Matt Broughton 347th (4.30.12), Jim Sneath 477th (4.48.34) and Sarah Smith 586th (5.04.51).

  1. A hard long race which should never be underestimated! Well done to all who made it round.

  2. A great day out with all fellow black and whites making it around within the cut off times. John once again showing us all how it’s done and not to forget Mr Lake finishing with a great time particularly with it being his first attempt. I’ll be aiming at spending the next year running up lots of hills to try and get closer to that 4 hour mark.
