Sunday 11th August – II Carrera Solidaria de la Dehesa de Roche 12km (Esp)

Report from OAC’s Jamil Parapia:

I did a 12km race in Spain the other day. It was my first open race for three years.

The race was held in Roche near Cadiz in southern Spain and although the course was flat the conditions were extremely hot and windy. More details from here.

I finished in fifth place out of approximately 260 runners in a time of 41.03.

The race was won by Sergi Rodriguez Jimenez (Alcala de los Gazules) in 38.37. Results from here.
