Tuesday 20th August – Eccup New Inn Handicap

Round Eight of this year’s Club Handicap Championship was the four mile multi-terrain circuit starting and finishing at the New Inn, Eccup.

Andy Webster went one better than Leathley, finishing in the top postion for the first time.  A fast finishing Caron took the runners up spot just ahead of Joanna and Sean.  Richard came through the field to 6th to record the fastest time of the night.

Ursula took plenty of points too in 5th, reclaiming her position at the top of the Handicap table on 146 points, ahead of Dominic 129 and Matt Podd 119.5.  September’s race follows soon the 3k track race at Keighley on the Thursday 5th.

  1. Really enjoyed this race. Gave it my all and left nothing behind. Just got third stolen from me in the last few strides. But pleased with my result.

  3. Pretty good handicapping by Andrew as usual. I raised an eyebrow at Gemma’s time till I saw she ventured hors piste (not a euphamism)
