Sunday 8th September – Yorkshireman Full & Half Marathons

Keighley & Craven A.C.’s off-road Full (26.1 miles / 3,281′) and Half (14.9 miles / 2,133′) Marathons over the Brontë Moors from Haworth.

From the Full results, the race was won by Ged Callan (Bingley) in 3.18.29 and the first lady in sixteenth position overall was Kim Threadgall (Valley Striders) in 3.46.55. For OAC, Ed Davies finished fourth (3.27.24), Hugh Pearson 119th (5.11.24) and Nick Hodgkinson 157th (5.44.54).

From the Half Results, the race was won by Ben Mounsey (Calder Valley) in 1.41.04 and the first lady in seventeenth position overall was Rachel Pilling (Pudsey & Bramley) in 2.00.24. For OAC, Sarah Smith 119th (2.32.07), Ged Peacock finished 135th (2.37.51).

    Oh, those moors are pretty unforgiving. Well done black and whites!

    Good effort everyone. I have really enjoyed this race in the past (well apart from the hill to the finish), but giving it a miss in favour of other stuff.
