  1. Well done all – Especially Scott – Good run. I’m trying to avoid making some type of Clown joke. Professional Guest runner – a pace maker perhaps?

  2. Seems to have a reputation for being scenic = hilly on t’internet but I thought it was just right apart from one shortish hill in the last few miles which is probably what everybody remembers. Some potential for traffic problems but really well marshalled so not an issue. Flapjacks at the finish and post race refreshments in the Arkwright Arms, courtesy of the Hannah real ale guide, were both excellent.

  3. Well ran Scott and also congrats to Tom on a PB. Quite an undulating route from recollection. Can’t think of any clown puns either.

Do you know why cannibals don’t eat clowns? Because they taste funny.

    Sorry.

  4. Don’t give up the day job Richard! Seriously, great run from all the black and whites and Scott it must have been great for you to revisit your old club!

  5. Oh dear Richard! Well done Scott and congratulations on the PB Tom. Sounds like you enjoyed the post race recovery David 😉

  6. Just to put the record straight, it may have been a seasons best for me but my half marathon pb is considerably better (84.09) many moons ago at Selby.

  7. In my life inside running clubs, I met few runners like former president . Tom Hannah, a complete runner capable of doing 60 races and more every year with huge consistency and strong performances, in Clowne Half -Marathon he was 307th in 149.35, not bad at all , I wish I could do it. Well done indeed.
