  1. You all did great – sorry I could not be there, even though I had a place. Some good results here – Shane back from injury and John and Renee’s times stand out.

  2. Well done all, I think some of Caron’s pics show how hard this race is, (Mr McGuire’s face)… Shane how was the sports science experiment of gels versus pork pie, mushy peas next year?

  3. The pork pie was magical thanks for that. I think it gives a nice burst of salt. Overtook 25 or so coming back in. I think I may try scotch eggs next time!

Great run out all round and a lovely day for it. Feeling stronger every run. Top effort by all concerned. Great camaraderie as well from most runners out there.

  4. John Armitstead is part mountain goat! Seriously cant believe how steep climb up Ingleborough is and Renee was smiling! Well done to everyone that took part-you deserve medals.

  5. Good running from all of you, but By God Mr Armitstead, Your like and old Fordson Tractor, {and I mean that in the best of ways} Just keeps on Going and going. Well done John.

  6. Well spotted Graham!

As it was the 60th Three Peaks, Pete Bland Sports provided a prize (shoes) for the 60th finisher in the race. That’s why I let a couple overtake me on the descent from Ingleborough to Horton…

Well done to all who ran and thanks to the supporters on the course.

  7. No longer surprised at John’s results at the Peaks.
Great effort by all. A big achievement just getting round within cut off time.
