Report from Jackie Ackroyd:
I did the trawden 7 trail race. It was a local race ,one long hill in the first 3 to 4 miles and uphill in the last mile.
It was a hot day, with clear view for miles on the moorland section, pity you had to watch your feet. I set off steady and worked into the race.
The last mile was a hot drag but the home made cakes and beer at the end was very welcome. It was very rural, the beautiful scenery took my mind off the pain.
I was 116th and 19th lady in 60.14 . Friendly, social run, no pressure. I would certainly do it again
