Thanks for working it all out so quickly Andrew, and to John for overall control, and all the marshalls and helpers. It was a great night out and well done all the runners – Junior and Senior. Some brilliant finish sprints Scott, Andy and Demonic stood out.

You will not believe it , I won this relays more then 10 years ago when it used to be 5 legs and the mighty Ian Fisher started the first leg and I was the last leg with Neil C. chasing me to the very end . Well done everyone especially the remarkable John A. for doing leg1 in 22:13 and leg 3 in 23:50 that is strong running. Also Hannah L. in leg 3 with 27:46 ran well indeed and she will be soon in good form. In leg 2 Gemma H. with 36:52 had a good ran together with Joanna H. that running in 35:22 did a good performance.

Well done to both ladies teams, brilliant effort from everyone as I know this was out of your comfort zone for some of you. On a personal note, I’m chuffed to bits with my result as I don’t ever do quick short races so wasn’t sure how it’d go. Thanks to Scott for his encouragement at the end and to Hugh for the BBQ afterwards. The juniors were amazing.
