So… my new tactic is, start 15 seconds late, then cruise down the home straight whilst everyone battles in front of you about 14 seconds ahead. And then sneakily jump into 2nd place in the results. Sorry about that.

Thought I finished ahead of Steve….not to matter

  3. #3 by Graham on September 11, 2015 - 7:47 am

Yeah, Andy was ahead of Steve; just. But good handicapping Andrew, very close at the end.

Yep, agreed on Steve. Tom P, Ian, Howard & Steve’s finish times were all adjusted for late starts. Well done folks

Enjoyed my first experience of ‘The Track’

Andrew thank you as ever…….on the overall standings table its only showing me with 4 points when it should be 6 putting me equal with Dom…….I need all the points i can get its getting too close 😉

    Thanks

Good evening for a track race. Pity Christian and I did not start at the same time (identical finish times) would have made for a challenging last lap! Maybe at the mile! Pretty good handicapping again by Andrew half the field within 5 seconds and the rest within a minute!

Apologies Chris, updated now, it’s looking like it’s going to be the usual close finish, just 3 races to go now.

Updating the Handicap times spreadsheet: http://otleyac.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Hcap_Times_86topresent.xls I noticed there were lots of pb’s last night, Graham, Steve, Andy, prob. Ian.. + first timers Chris, Eriks, Christian & Adam

Welcome back to former President Mick J. and Congratulations to him for winning this massive 3000 meters with 13:54 a great result in a lovely night . Charlotte T. ran well with a solid stride with 14:46 , also Adam P. had a brilliant ran with a super 15:54 in this 3000 meters and he was flying doing a extra sprint lap , not bad at all . Thank you to Howard’s wife for encouragement to all and keep counting the laps for all the runners , also thank you to Andrew R. for the elastic rings as well much appreciated. Well done to everyone .
