Report from Ian Broadbent:
I ran the Newquay 10k on Sunday whilst on holiday down at the lizard. It was an undulating course really well marshalled, great facilities and competitive run mainly road but away from the town. I managed a PB, 45:27 123/562 which was a surprise as it wasn’t the easiest course. Races seem to be a bit thin on the ground down this way so a good turn out of 562 runners on a warm but windy day. A lot of inter club rivalry with many clubs turning up in mini buses and coaches such was their numbers. Well worth a look if you are down this way. The race was won in 32:46 by Dan Rodgers of Launceston road runners. Full set of results here.
