Tom Lynch and Caron Ralph took the award for last month.  Tom for his efforts at the Langdale Horseshoe, The British Fell Relays and the Wistow 10k.  Caron for the Hodgson Brothers relay, Great Whernside and the first two West Yorks. cross countries at Wakefield and Huddersfield.

Well done both.

  1. Well done to both. The photos show a pair of determined runners so well deserved and the camera never lies right?

PS The phrase does remind me of Mao Tse Tung swimming the Yangtze though! (Google it!)

  2. I agree with Howard , well done to both. Caron indeed is a worthy winner of the award of October, her cross country season has been a powerful one , yesterday in Keighley she had a super performance in a very difficult day for racing in such a course .

  3. Thoroughly deserved IMO – tom’s the most improved runner this year with some great performances in tough cat A fell races. Caron has also done tremendously well to bounce back strongly from injury.

  4. You can’t go for a walk on the Chevin these days without bumping into Caron doing hills, definitely been putting the miles in! Thanks all, definitely a nice surprise to get it!
