Thursday 8th September – 3000m Handicap and ROY Track

With a Mo Farah like sprint down the final straight Dominic took a comfortable win ahead of Tony Walker.  Young Aston just beat Steve for third across the line with a frantic sprint in the last 50m.

Thanks to Caron for time keeping duties, setting of a minute or so before Antonio ending up 3rd after Handicap adjustments.

Mark recorded the fastest time on the night, replicating his club V55 record (10:06), from last year’s Yorks. Veteran track championships.

After a recent cold top of the table, David Cattanach found it hard work, helping Tom Pomfrett to move back to the top of the handicap table, however it’s just a one point lead.  Last years winner Tom Lynch has now moved up to third.  See full table here.

With 3 races to go, there’s plenty of time for late moves up the table, so don’t give up yet if you’re near the top of the table…  The October race is a 4 mile route from the New Inn, Eccup on Sat. 22nd.
