Sunday 28th January – Meltham (tough) 10k

Report from Mark Hall:

I ran this event in what felt like hurricane conditions, there is a 2 mile section of a very hilly straight road that was into a block headwind, possibly the most severe wind I have run in during a race. I was pleased to record a ‘steady’ time of 38.46, 90 seconds down on last year. I finished 7th (1st 55) and 1st veteran overall.

Winner: Scott Hinchcliffe, Penistone, 35.16

  1. To cross the finish line in 7th position is a great result and 38.48 is a powerful time for a 10k , considering the strong headwind and the very hilly course . Well done to Mark H.
