  1. The camera never lies and just as I was captured pacing Jonnie Brownlee to a podium finish last year, this is me pulling out from three laps of pacing the euro champ. This, despite being last out of the starting blocks, literally, and taking three laps to warm up. I was 3 minutes and more slower than last year and just held off being lapped twice by the winner. I managed to pass at least 26 people by the finish. I say at least because I passed one guy who was very recognisable (hair) on lap one but he was waiting at the finish when I got there (?).

  2. The juniors did another brilliant turn out with U17 Jenson B. doing a fantastic performance crossing the finish line in 23.58 , also U13 Aston B. did really well finishing in a fast 9.59 . U13 Ned G.T. did well too finishing in a solid 10.00 . James G. had a good day finishing in a robust 10.30 . Howard J. did a very wise start saving loads of energy and he used all the stamina that he saved in a very efficient way in the next 4 laps finishing in a splendid 50.10 . David F. did a superb race finishing in a powerful 53.31 . Thank you to Andrew R. for the nice pics and the encouragement we strongly needed .
