Saturday 20th November – Eric Smith Trophy Race 11 – Weeton Handicap

This must be Antonio’s favourite handicap as he returned to the railway bridge ahead of the rest for the fourth time.  Bob Payne held on for second ahead of David Fox.  Mick Jeffrey and Carol Armitstead were surprised to be setting of as the last two and both recorded the fastest times.

Mick keeps his lead, (5 points), at the top the Eric Smith handicap table ahead of  Ann Powell and  Carol in second and third.  See the full table here.

  1. It was good to see Jack R. and Kath R. on the course encouraging the runners and Jack took nice pics too . It was good to see back on the competitive scene Phil R. after some time off with injury , Phil crossed the finish line in a splendid time of 49.30 . Former President Mick J. had a great morning in Weeton finishing in a very fast 38.43 . Also Bob P. had a good run in this lovely village finishing with a solid time of 53.57 . Well done everyone .
