Report from Phil R It’s 20 years since I ran in the 10k organised by Pontefract Hospital’s League of Friends; on Sunday there was a new Pontefract 10k promoted by the Prince of Wales’ Trust. The route was out-and-back along closed roads just south of the racecourse. Report from Howard This race is a very undulating multi terrain race and last year the weather was blistering. Today the forecast was for 14 degrees which is much more conducive to faster running. This is a short and sharp, typically BOFRAish race. The juniors had fun slipping and sliding down the grass and scree before us seniors got to join in the fun.
