Sunday 1st November – Baildon Boundary Way

Report from Sara Richard

This popular and challenging, multi terrain half marathon was postponed due to Covid from April to 1 November. The event was chip timed, socially distanced and had staggered starts.

As I hadn’t raced since February, I had expected the event to be cancelled like so may other races have sadly had to. Great to know it was going ahead, although I was apprehensive as I hadn’t really trained.
It felt great to put on my club vest, the weather was perfect, clear and fresh. Loads of mud going through Saltaire Woods and Baildon Moor which was fun!
The event was extremely well organised with informative emails before hand, the marshalls were fabulous and the whole event was superb. Lovely finishers top (my only one for 2020!).

  1. Baildon Boundary Way is a fantastic 13 mile run that I used to do every year , not anymore too many miles for me nowadays . I liked the report by Sara that had a great day running this trail race crossing the finish line in a very good 2.43 . Also Chris L. did a strong performance finishing with a brilliant 2.14 .
